Life’s Potential Services offers both adult and adolescent services. Our highly qualified team consists of addiction counselors to help you achieve your goals. Our team members bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our addiction treatment programs, and they work closely with each client to provide personalized care and support. The Outpatient program is offered in-person and via telehealth. We accept Maryland Medicaid or self-pay options.

Life’s Potential Services has a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve lasting recovery. Our team members bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our addiction treatment programs, and they work closely with each client to provide personalized care and support. We understand that addiction is a complex condition requiring a comprehensive approach, and our team is committed to providing the highest quality care to everyone seeking our help.
The Intensive Outpatient program is offered in-person only. Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is a minimum of 9 hours a week or minimum of 6 hours for adolescents (age 12 and above). We accept Maryland Medicaid or self-pay options.
Intensive Outpatient Services Provided:
Case management services
Group counseling sessions
Individual sessions every 2 weeks.
Urinalysis tests when appropriate
Family services which may include an assessment for family treatment needs and, if clinically appropriate, alcohol and drug education, and family counseling.

12-hour DUI Course
12-hour DUI Course
Life’s Potential Services provides a 12-hour DUI educational series. Each session provides basic information on a variety of topics related to substance abuse. Presenting information regarding substance abuse helps the client to become aware of his/her own defense mechanism and enables the client to develop a more realistic picture of the addiction and his/her ability to change.
We offer a 12-hour, state approved curriculum, including the topics listed below:
- Review the scope of the current drinking and/or impaired driving problem on the national, state, and local levels, including associated legal penalties and processes of the Courts and the MVA administrative hearing
- Introduction to relevant alcohol and drug treatment terminology and definitions, including the medical model of addiction
- Identification of the biological, psychological, social and familial impact of alcohol and drug use disorders
- Familiarization with the recovery process, available treatment modalities, and community-based supports
Additional referrals for mental health services, social services, substance abuse treatment will be made at that time, if clinically indicated.
26-week DUI Treatment Program
26-week DUI Treatment Program
Our 26-week DUI Treatment Program is designed for those who have a more extensive history of alcohol or other drug use and resulting legal consequences. This program is conducted by a certified/licensed clinician. The participants are provided with tools to assist them in changing high-risk behaviors and identifying negative consequences associated with drinking and driving and managing their alcohol or drug use problem. The 26-week DUI Program is a treatment program in addition to an Alcohol Education Program. The 12-hour DUI curriculum is incorporated inside of the 26-week early intervention program. Urine screens completed in 26-week program.
